Chai latte in S'Agaró: you're in the right place
If you're searching for chai latte in S'Agaró, you've found it. Dirty Rabbit is at Avinguda Platja d'Aro 275 — in S'Agaró, not nearby, not a few minutes away: right here.
S'Agaró doesn't have many cafés. The ones that do exist serve what they have. We serve organic masala chai from Awachai, a real spice blend made in Isère, France.
What makes a good chai latte
- It starts with the spices. Cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, clove, black pepper — each one plays a part. A chai made with sweet concentrate flattens all of that into generic sweetness. Not the same thing.
- Temperature doesn't define the flavour. Awachai's masala works equally well hot or cold. That's why we serve it three ways, year-round: classic hot, iced chai, and dirty chai with espresso.
- Espresso changes chai. Dirty chai isn't a niche order — it's the version for anyone who wants coffee energy but prefers spice to straight bitterness. Ours uses a shot from La Cabra.
Where to find good chai latte in S'Agaró
Here. Avinguda Platja d'Aro 275.
We opened on 1 November 2024. Awachai's masala chai has been on the menu since day one, alongside La Cabra coffee and Origo Bakery bread. Iwonka runs day-to-day. Large terrace, WiFi, good morning light.
If you want to compare, the nearest options are in Sant Feliu de Guíxols (5 minutes) and Platja d'Aro (10 minutes) — though real-spice chai in either place is hard to find.
Why chai latte is everywhere but good chai is rare
Chai has been on Spanish café menus for years. The problem isn't the popularity — it's that most versions are syrup in warm milk, which has little to do with what masala chai actually is.
S'Agaró has a limited café scene by nature — it's a small residential area, not a town centre. That's actually an advantage: what's here gets chosen more carefully, because volume doesn't carry everything.
Frequently asked questions about chai latte in S'Agaró
Are there other cafés with chai in S'Agaró?
Not many. S'Agaró is small. Dirty Rabbit is the option in the area with organic masala chai from real spices. For more variety, Sant Feliu is 5 minutes away and Platja d'Aro is 10.
What chai versions do you have?
Three: classic chai latte (hot or iced), iced chai year-round, and dirty chai with a shot of La Cabra espresso. Plant milk available in all versions. €3.50 to €5.
Is iced chai only available in summer?
No. We have it year-round. S'Agaró has mild winters compared to inland Spain, and people order it cold in December. No problem.
What exactly is Awachai's masala chai?
Awachai is a producer in Isère, France, making an organic spice blend — cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, clove, black pepper. Not a tea bag, not a syrup. A spice blend that's infused in milk.
Do you have WiFi and somewhere to work at Dirty Rabbit?
Yes. WiFi, large terrace, good natural morning light. A lot of people come in to work through the whole morning.
