☕ La Maglia — Local roastery

La Maglia is the specialty coffee spot of Platja d'Aro. They roast their own beans (100% Arabica, SCA 85+), and serve açaí bowls, toasts, and local pastries.
The vibe is cyclist — the name comes from the Giro d'Italia pink jersey. Large terrace, quick service. Good option if you're staying in central Platja d'Aro.
Best for: Their house-roasted coffee + açaí bowl.

For the best breakfast in the area, make the 5-minute trip to S'Agaró. It's genuinely worth the detour.
We serve La Cabra — the world-class Danish roaster. Prepared on La Marzocco KB90 with filtered water. This is extraordinary coffee, not just "good".

Specialty coffee + gluten-free bakery in a beautiful 19th-century house. Excellent toasts, unique atmosphere. Open Thu-Mon, 9am-2:30pm.
Seafront hotels
Several hotels offer breakfast buffets open to non-guests. Convenient but nothing special.
Centre bakeries
Standard croissants and coffee. Fine for a quick breakfast, but nothing exceptional.

If you're on holiday in Platja d'Aro and looking for a breakfast experience that's out of the ordinary, make the trip to S'Agaró. You'll discover another side of the Costa Brava — more authentic, calmer, more beautiful.
