Best Specialty Coffee near Sant Feliu de Guíxols
Sant Feliu de Guíxols is the historic capital of southern Costa Brava: an active fishing port, a 10th-century Benedictine monastery, and a cork-making tradition that defined the town for centuries. Today it's an authentic place, without the Lloret crowds but with everything you need. Including, finally, good specialty coffee.
☕ ANNNA — The first specialty café in Sant Feliu
Carrer de l'Hospital 21, Sant Feliu de Guíxols · In the centre
ANNNA was the first specialty coffee in Sant Feliu, and it remains a reference. Ana (bakery) and Pascal (coffee) have created a unique space in Casa Trachsler, a 19th-century townhouse in the old town.
It's specialty coffee, 100% gluten-free artisan bakery, and concept store with local products (Empordà oils, natural wines, ceramics). The GF sourdough bread is exceptional — not "good for gluten-free," but genuinely excellent.
Open Thursday to Monday, 9:00–14:30. Closed Tuesday and Wednesday. Pet-friendly, accessible.
Best for: Toast with their artisan bread + flat white. The space itself is worth the visit.
☕ Maison Marcel — French bakery with good coffee
Carrer Major, 5, Sant Feliu de Guíxols · In the centre
Andrea and Franck have brought a piece of France to Sant Feliu. The butter croissants with local organic flour are the best in the area — no debate. Pain au chocolat, Paris-Brest, tiramisú... all artisan.
The coffee isn't from an identified specialty roaster, but quality is well above average. TripAdvisor users have voted it "best coffee shop in Spain" (slightly hyperbolic, but the enthusiasm makes sense).
Best for: Croissant + café con leche. Simple perfection.
🐇 Dirty Rabbit — 5 minutes to another level
Avenida Platja d'Aro 275, S'Agaró · 5 min drive from Sant Feliu
If you're after the best specialty coffee in the area, Dirty Rabbit is 5 minutes along the coast towards S'Agaró.
We serve La Cabra — the Danish roaster that's been in the global specialty elite for years. Every bean is traceable to the farm, with full info on variety, altitude, and process. We prepare it on our La Marzocco KB90 with RO-filtered water — because the difference is in the details.
But Dirty Rabbit is more than coffee. It's sitting down after a Camí de Ronda hike, having breakfast with pine tree views, staying for two hours reading without anyone rushing you. We call it "home away from home."
How to get here from Sant Feliu
- 5 minutes by car via the coastal road (GI-682).
- 20–30 minutes walking via the Camí de Ronda — one of the most beautiful routes on Costa Brava.
- 10 minutes by bike along the road or coastal path.
Our three pillars
- Wild Comfort — A place that's wild and cosy at once.
- Intention — Everything we do has a why.
- Belonging — A place where you fit in, wherever you're from.
We speak Spanish, Catalan, English, and Polish. Menus in Russian, French, and Ukrainian.
