Best Specialty Coffee in Begur
Begur is probably the most beautiful village on Costa Brava. Colonial-era Indiano mansions with Cuban flair, cobbled streets, a medieval castle with 360° views, and the most photogenic coves in the entire Mediterranean (Aiguablava, Sa Tuna, Sa Riera). It also has a specialty coffee scene — though it runs in seasonal mode.

Fitzroy draws direct inspiration from Melbourne — named after the hipster Australian neighbourhood. Specialty coffee, legendary brunch (kimcheese toasties, smashed avo, banana pancakes), and wine bar in the evenings during summer.
Important: Fitzroy is seasonal. In winter it may be closed or on reduced hours. Check before going. When it's open (spring–autumn), it's among the best on Costa Brava.
Best for: Full brunch + flat white. Terrace on the village square.

If you're coming from Begur towards S'Agaró along the coast, the 20-minute journey is spectacular — and so is the destination.
We serve La Cabra, the Danish roaster that's been in the global specialty elite for years. Every bean is fully traceable: farm, altitude, variety, process. We prepare it on our La Marzocco KB90 with RO-filtered water — because details matter.
Unlike Fitzroy, Dirty Rabbit is open year-round. So if you're visiting in January or February looking for good coffee, we're here. Plus coffee, you can have breakfast (eggs benedict, toast, bowls), stay reading, or walk down to Sant Pol Beach in 3 minutes.
